notes"The M1133 Stryker Medical Evacuation Vehicle (MEV) is part of a family of eight-wheeled armored fighting vehicles derived from the Canadian LAV III. Stryker vehicles are produced by General Dynamics Land Systems for the United States Army. It has a 4-wheel drive (8×4) and can be switched to an all-wheel drive (8×8). It includes an elevated rear compartment to provide the medical crew with more headroom and all of the equipment necessary to stabilize casualties prior to and during transport to a battalion or brigade level aid station."
