notes"The PRP-4A Argus mobile reconnaissance post is the latest version of the PRP-4 Nard, which was adopted back in the early 1980s. The PRP-4A Argus has enhanced capabilities over its predecessor. Its main role is to carry out reconnaissance for artillery units, determine target coordinates and act as a general forward observation vehicle. It entered service with the Russian Army in 2009. It is being produced in small numbers for the Russian Army. This reconnaissance vehicle is also being offered for export."
